Selected aspects of the hidden become image, surface and spatial experience. Across painting, sculpture, photography and installation, Marlon Nikolai works at thresholds where inner and preconscious phenomena acquire material presence.
Light, pigment, resin, chrome, transparency and reflection act as carriers of perception. Recurring forms—snake, shedding, spiral, sunflower and eagle—open fields of transformation, orientation and perspective.
